On April 13th at dusk until April 14th at dusk, pollinator supporters in communities across the country will celebrate pollinators and commemorate the 50th anniversary death of Rachel Carson, the scientist who publicized the detrimental effects of pesticides in her book, Silent Spring, in 1962.  Go to the Make Way for Monarchs website for ideas on events you can create and information about this national project.

Spring is here and it’s the perfect time to plan and plant for all pollinators-bees, butterflies, birds, bats and beetles.
